Hello and merry christmas to all!! The boss us looing at getting one of the machines in work
http://www.generalwelding.co.uk/Special-Offers/Kemppi-MinarcMig-Evo-Machine-Packages.php
We have a one off alluminium job that may last a couple of months and only 1 big mig that will weld alluminium. So we were going to get that little kemppi as it can also be used for site work.
Anyway that got me thinking maybe it would be better if we had something like this
http://www.rapidwelding.com/dynamic/DisplayItem.aspx?c=W1004207
As then we would have the ability to stick & TIG weld as well.
But then I remembered we need it for alluminium as well which would mean needing the spool gun for the thermal arc. This would however make it a more expensive option.
So my question is are there any multi process inverters out there that will weld aluminium without a spool gun?
Regards
Dave.
