I need some help please, I’ve already searched the usual forums to no avail
I have a 1977 Bultaco Alpina trail bike, and have found I have no brake light. The wiring on these is a little odd - the brake light switch is an always on one - pressing the brake pedal breaks the circuit and the light should come on, weird I know. Now, this works as there is a resistor wired into the circuit, which apparently makes it all work.
My problem is the resistor on mine is missing, and apparently they’re unobtainable. The suggested solution is to fit an LED lamp, and change the switch for a normally open contact, but I can’t find one of those either; do any of you electrical wizards have any suggestions please?
