Sorry all if im dragging things out with me and my lathe. Been able to take in loads of your comments on my old lathe and the Clarke range of tools.
From what I can work out Clarke & Warco do the same lathes but Warco has alot more selection. Also the CL500M with mill from comments is that the lathe is ok but the mill is usless.
Now ive been looking at some of the Chester range of Lathes & Mills, I know Chester is still quite a cheap make but im gessing that its better than the Clarke & Warco stuff, I do have there slip rolls and you can tell its made to a cost but there still fine.
The Chester Lathe that has realy cought my eye is the Model B-Super, for a small unit it has a 16" swing, more than most lathes for home users, well more than any of its size. If I do decide to go for it I can get it end of next week.
Here is the Lathe:

I have done a search and there is not alot of information on the forum about Chester Lathes so was hoping before I decide that someone could give me a good reason why I should not buy one, maybe there are some major issues with them, not sure but I bet someone here will know.
The Smart & Brown I have will 100% be up for sale. Just want somthing modern, new, no play/ware that I can learn to use well. I did offer a Tunner I know cash for his Emco Compact 10, I realy liked that and it had a digital readout aswell, also very accurate.
