I am confused with Kemppi's logic for adjustment of balance at AC welding at MLS 2300 AC/DC, ACX panel.
The preset value is -25% and offered range is from 0 up to -50%... In the manual it is explained that at -25%, the tip of the tungsten remains sharp all the time. Futher it is said that going toward zero, there are more heat at tungsten and going toward -50 there are less heat in the tungsten...
What I want to know is:
- does Kemppi's "-25%" stands for 75% at -pole and 25% at +pole,
and accordingly:
- does Kemppi's "-10%" stands for 60% at - pole and 40% at + pole,
- does Kemppi's "-35%" stands for 85% at - pole and 15% at + pole,
... or there is another logic at Kemppi? Which Kemppi's "-......%" should be chosen if I want balance 75%- / 25%+, or 60%- / 40%+, or 85%- / 15%+...?
