Im sure I have read about people converting the Mitre Saw to cut steel.
Now these Mitre Saw's you can buy have a 600mm blade, sure Hacksaws are 300mm.
So how are they converted?
How accurate are they, as in does the blade flex much?
Any pics of converted ones?
Just thinking of a cheap way of cutting steel cones as I dont have a chop saw or anything great for cutting (well apart from my angle grinder)

only used it for hobby work, it can cut at a slight angle esp. if you're too quick pulling the blade down, but it's cut through everything I've thrown at it
- box section steel mostly, but it made it's way through a piece of 2" solild bar as well!
