Happened twice now, first time we put down to it not being looked after, repaired it, and now its gone again.
The gas hose in the torch is the hard plastic type. Broken off where it comes off the hosetail on the wire feeder mechanism. Quite a fiddly job to repair it.
I wonder if thay are still using that sort or have changed to a more flexible hose type....
Symptoms are gas escaping around the torch handle trigger, rather than where it should be coming from.
Didnt cost anything to repair, just cut the broken hose off and put a new clip on it. Your torch get an inch or two shorter every time though...
If anyone else has this problem, it might be worth changing the whole gas hose....
