its been drying up for the past few years .theres not the gear about that they used to be so most people are having to buy cheap new imported crapIs anyone producing manual machines anymore? Surely everything is CNC these days and has been for some time? Maybe the supply of second hand manual gear is drying up.
I've got a catalogue from XYZ machine tools somewhere, that had 4 or 5 Bridgeport looking manual machines in it, along with a few lathes and surface grinders. I think the hobby market is pretty much the only demand for not CNC now. Warco, Jet and Chester make them too.Is anyone producing manual machines anymore?
lack of supply from firms going down

Some CNCs have electronic hand wheels to control them "manually".
EDIT; people who work on hydraulic cylinders need manual machines AFAIK. They are the only people I can think of though, other than hobbyists.
