Hi,
As a newbie, I start with a problem, of course.
My MIGPro 90 stopped welding, seems like no real current at the electrodes.
Wire feed working, checked the overheat protection, checked the diodes, the transformer shows low resistance, I've measured 8Volt between the negative and the welding electrode when the welder just on, when I press the trigger, I measure 20ish Volt. I've tried all the power switches, as well. It doesn't weld, not even a slightest spark, when I try it.
Is it possible, the inductor shorted out inside, as the plastic seems melted in it?
Could it be the culprit?
Of course, I welcome any ideas.
Best regards,
Art
