hi guys,
I have been practicing welding with mig
I have a clark mig welder 145 which is rated at 30 to 135 amp with 4 power setting
It is gas and no gas setup. It only needed gas and regulator to turn it into has
I initially started watching loads of youtube videos which helped but still making many mistakes
I started to read posts and article
But still not there
I was ok with fluxcore 0.9mm wire wich was setup with 0.8mm roller.
But i was getting a lit of spatter and dirty yellow dust
I then switched to gas but i am horrible at it
See attached pic. I have played with wire speed, amp and gas setting for almost 3 hours and get hit and miss results
What do you think i am doing wrong?
I noticed when i melt the metal after a bit it forms a nose or poke on top as you can see
Wire tensioning should be fine. I have played with amp and speed setting as well
Last thing that comes to mind is gas
Sorry if i have typed all over the place as i am half awake( knakerd)

Thanks
