So... I have a classic Mini 1990 Flame Red, exactly the same as my first car, except this one is in much better condition. It in fact has the original floor still. However she does now need a few patches in the under carriage.
So I have wanted to weld, and now I have a reason! But what welder to buy? I have spent the evening reading about current and power and gas/gas less and am now completely confused.
As the mini thin steel (1mm ish), I think I need somthing with a lower amps than a high one. Would the Clarke Pro 90 be a good buy? 25A minimum? or am I in completely the wrong ball park?
