hello
can any one help i have recently purchased a mig welder.from snap on tool man who comes to our garage. its a 180amp mig and i bought it for repairing cars and for making a shed nbehind the garage at home .
i will be using 2 inch box iron and i reckon its about 3 to 4 mill thick.
and face it with galvanised sheets. is this mig powerful enough an what are the typical settings for mig welder as the instruction that came with the welder are fairly ****e . also it came with a single guauge reg. for the bottle . a friend suggested i would be better off getting a reg with 2 gauges opne for gas amount and one for gas delivery pressure
i am fairly new to welding so any advice would be great
thanks
