Hi all and yep its another one of the what mig threads sorry.
I have welding experience with crappy old mig & arc welders to some decent kit (out of my budget sadly). I am looking for a reasonable mig around the £300/400 range.
It will mainly be box section mild steel that i am welding (fitting a bike engine to a kit car for racing), though will also do thinner car bodywork as well.
I would love an inverter based welder but will not rule out a transformer based rig.
I have a few options that i like the look of. The first is a parweld xte 171c another option i have found is a hyundai hymig_200 https://hyundaipowerequipment.co.uk...ig-mma-arc-inverter-welder-230v-single-phase/
What are your thoughts and any other option you can suggest?
Will prefer new due to having warranty and whatnot.
Thanks in advance.
