ok well i was on here last year after advice but things went pear shaped for me and i didnt get a new mug, so new year new ideas, i'm looking at 3 migs in particular though suggestions welcome, i'm on a tight budjet about £300 and i'll get gas after that (i'm not intending to run flux cored! but will get a 20l cylinder probaly) my plans are for some light fabrication mainly 3-6mm mild steel anything thicker i have a 180 arc the mig must take a 5kg reel ( have 2 left over from my old welder) i was looking at 150-160A welders but ended up looking at 3 200A ones which i'm un-decided about, any advice from people who have direct experience with them would be best, i know they are chinnese and warranty is a concern but i cant afford to be too fussy, still dont want something which wont do the job!

30a supply dont know what warranty but again supplied by a uk company, found 1 review by someone who said they used it a lot and that the company are very helpful
i dont need a mig/mma machine, thats just what i seemed to find, if i was specificaly looking for dual purpose it would be mig/tig, anyway like i say if anyone has direct experience with any of these 3 your experince (good or bad) would be most helpful, any suggestions for alternatives in my price would also be good, i did look at the sip t166 but was put off by the 20% duty cycle @105A! these inverters all say 60% duty cycle but i dont know how optimistic that is, i've got plans to make some gates and railings and 20% duty cycle would ba a PITA when everythings jigged up!
