I need a repair of this circuit board for my migatronic, the main control panel,it’s 20 years old, been told by two suppliers it’s unobtainable, any recommendations who to send it to? Thanks.
According to that diagram, the motor is driven directly from the board, connecting on pins A7 and B9.
The only components on the board that could control enough current to drive a motor are the two TO-220 package power semiconductors mounted on black finned heatsinks, so these two would be the first parts to suspect as failed. It is also possible that other lower-power transistors that drive them have failed instead.
( There is another TO-220 power component near the connector, but it is not on a heatsink, and the nearby 6-pin chip, which could be an optocoupler, implies that it may be a TRIAC switching the contactor and gas valve.)
If you want to try repairing the PCB yourself, you could identify the connector pins A7 and B9, confirm that they head to those transistors, and identify the component numbers printed on them. They could then be removed from the board and tested with a meter, prior to possible replacement.
