Needs to be correct colours and ideally tagged
Mmmm 3 meters is a tad short then, rethink! Thanks guysgeneraly 3 meters max from db to the meter . 25mm tails. the neutral cable is blue and the 3 phases are all brown identified with tape or markers for each phase colour
what you running a 2oo amp supply . should have educated him 25mm well enough for a 100 amp cutout supplyOne recently insisted the 25 was replaced for 35mm tails, but strangely he had some available in the van from another job.
My 3 phase incomer is 35 mm copper tails into the building from the cut out to the meter transformer box and on to my isolator, but the UK Power Networks 3 x concentric overhead feed seems to be only 6 mm diameter aluminium. (It is a 160 amp per phase supply)
you would have to fit one of these within 3 meters of meter then out in armoured to new db or if its in a house you can use flat twin and eathIf SWA is the way forward, Ill move the meter boxes, as I think they look naff built into a stone wall. And two will look worse. Stick em round the corner, out of sight, an easier dig too as it wont need to cross the water and phone.
get some insulation tape on the right colours unless your real fussy there no longer red yellow and blue . there brown black grey and bluehttps://www.google.co.uk/search?source=hp&ei=-NWzW9igENH5gQaWw4l4&q=harmonised+colours&oq=harmonised+colours&gs_l=psy-ab.1.0.0l2j0i22i30k1l8.4921.12201.0.14849.21.18.0.1.1.0.114.1327.16j1.18.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..2.18.1339.0..0i131k1j0i10k1j0i22i10i30k1.49.XOCvDksvxGgPretty sure you can use all brown for the three phases and label them L1, L2 and L3. Think you'll struggle to get the right colours in meter tails, if you're worried you could source some RYB heat shrink just incase.

but would you really bother and pay the premium if your using 3 core and earth in the house for fans and 2way lights you still have to mark the new cables with tape or coloured sleevingNo, all the new colours are available in meter tails - TLC carry them
as in post 7 if your db needs to be any distance away even 50 meters a switchfuse at source and an armoured cable out to db
only if your on a site or somewhere where the safety police require you to do so pulling the fuse and a safety lock off on the switch is required in case someone comes along and turns it on while your working on the circuit down line. I have had someone do it to me years ago in a public buildingDoes the switch fuse need to be able to be locked off?
