It's meant to be pretty good, I had intended to use it on a wall at home so I can have a big notice board.

never mind walls, its the new body filler for cars.......gone are the days when you used to be able to use a magnet to check for the depth of filler

poor mans version just use loads of dry wall screws in the plaster board before plstering and your magnets will stick to them. I keep my magnets on the plater board wall in the worshop wish there was more screws lol

Magnetic rubber sheets. Cheap as chips.

you could probably just put a sheet pf xpm up first over the bonding then skim over it ,,,

...or a couple of bags of magnetic monopoles. Careful not to mix them up though, they're tricky to pull apart.

perforated sheet would probably work better , but you get the idea . a wee experiment first to make sure but with ndyme magnets being so good and cheap these days I dont see why it wouldnt work ok.

I can't help thinking it could play havoc with Wi-Fi like tin foil lined plaster board can.

Bag says thistle so I assume it only requires a skim coat, that £90 a bag seems like good value when you look at the cork over ply alternatives. Cost me a lot more than that to put up swmbo`s wall board the other day.
