Anyone ever been to this exhibition previous years? Is it any good? Worth travelling to Birmingham for? Looks a bit like USA's fabtech.

I'm going! It is essentially the UK version of fabtech.
Good opportunity to check out the latest technology

went in 2014...first time for me. really enjoyed it, like a sweet shop for engineering types.................just don't expect to go back to work/garage/mancave etc with the same look on all your outdated stuff

There is a welding village, set up by the AWD. It has people like weldability, Gullco, Jasic, IFL & migatronic.... should be good fun!
