so I bought a second hand Clarke pro90 mig. Stripped it, rebuilt it with a load of new bits last week and it seems to work ok, although it was the first time I’d used a mig welder lol.
Had chance of a 155t that seems to be in good nick already and it has the bonus of more power, bigger bottle and more settings. So I bought that thinking it could be better.
Can people tell me in the real world what each of these welders is really capable of and also recommended for with regards to vehicle bodywork?
Thickness of metal, types of jobs, power ratings etc...
I’m going to be working on vans initially.
Thanks.
