Hi All
I'm looking for a welder in the 180-200amps range, mainly for making frames with tubular steel and welding billets of steel together for forging damascus. I dont see me having any requirement to weld anything above 4-5mm.
After reading lots of posts I still can decide and I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.
I'm looking at -
Sealey Supermig 180 - https://www.sealey.co.uk/product/56...ig-welder-180amp-230v-with-binzelr-euro-torch
R-Tech 180 Amp - https://www.r-techwelding.co.uk/mig-welder-r-tech-i-mig180/
Clarke Mig240 (mainly due to the sale price) - https://www.clarketooling.co.uk/product/clarke-mig240-gas-no-gas-dual-purpose-mig-welders/
Any other suggestions might throw a spanner into the mix but would be welcomed
However I do keep coming back to the R-Tech
