Would be looking at getting something that could do up to 10mm steel at least. In that range of price (1200+ euros if I remember correctly) you can even think to buy a Kemppy
Yea that's the budget I'm aiming for but if I go over a bit don't mind just want a good mig welder.. Have a tig and stick welder but for some jobs a mig would be nice just save alot of time.In that range of price (1200+ euros if I remember correctly) you can even think to buy a Kemppy
Thanks must take a look at that one. Some good options:
GYS Multi Pearl 200.4 XL
Parweld XTM 201DI
ESAB Rebel 215ic
All brilliant multi process fully synergic welders, all dual voltage etc.. The GYS has power factor correction so can run quite happily on a 13A input.
The cheapest out of the lot is the Parweld 201di, its got a real nice synergic set up and does a few tricks that the others dont (such as semi synergic TIG and MMA and up to 10MM steel synergic) but it does not have a 4 roll feeder, neither does the rebel. That being said I've seen aluminium welded with it on MIG and the 2 roll feeder had no issues when combined with a teflon liner and U groove rollers.
