In ten years of living here this is unheard of, even though there is a court and police station

I don't see a problem, maintain social distancing, don't do anything else, have PPE ready for when you pickup, that's what I did when I collected the dust extractor, driving is not the problem people are the problem, 1000's of Tesco / waitrose delivery vans driving around, calling at 100's of houses, same for postie, if I find a generator I will have to collect it, don't want my 25 freezers melting if we get a power cut, ok, one fridge freezer and one under counter chest on wheels, still don't want them melting...

just me and my wife. drive all the way there and back.
the vender will load the car up so we wont have any contact.
I'll leave the money in the boot. once loaded off we go. no hand shake or anything. we'll do all the talking through emails.#so I cannot see a problem here.

Essential travel only, if you go out to get non essentials, some Muppet will use your example as an excuse to catch up with some mates, and spread the virus. Or have a crash and divert the NHS from pandemic work.

And best avoid higher risk workshop stuff for the moment. You do NOT want to be in A+E this spring.

They should have had roadblocks on the border to stop the camper vans coming north at the weekend. Ok they weren’t all from the south of the border. Town was full of visitors trying to avoid CV, Aberfoyle was the same as was Glencoe. The hospital here, was preparing to turn non residents away If they presented. It would have happened to, my wife was on duty!

Might be forced to go out soon, and drive around all over the place, I've only got a few minutes of Argoshield left, now that's a proper emergency! :D

Motorhome is sitting on the drive, that’s where it’s staying , if one of us starts showing symptoms we will self isolate in it. For the lack of something better to do I’m decorating then watching the paint dry!
