this is a sliding partition in a horsebox.....I've seen these sliding systems a few times, they look (from memory) very similair so wondering if the slide part is made from scratch or is actually just something else used in industry/factory setting but adapted to take the partition.
It's a bit like adjustable width forks on a forklift...pulling at the top and pushing on the bottom rail/track....only much easier to slide, and doesn't need to take anywhere near as much weight.
so....just wondering if anyone recognises the part circled in the pic
