Hello,
I got a lincoln pro-mig 135 cheap that the wire feed wasn't working on.
I've check the switch on the gun and it works. The 24V circuit has power as well as the welding circuit has 28V. the gas solenoid clicks when the trigger is pulled and the black relay seems to be picking up
I opened it up to find a resistor burned up on the control board. After some investigating with Lincoln, they told me what the value was of the resistor and I replaced it.
After I replaced the resistor, the wire feed motor still doesnt turn. I hooked the motor to 12V and it runs fine. The resistor I replaced gets very hot when you pull the trigger and nothing happens.
Does anyone have any ideas on what else to try?
Thanks for all your help. I've searched this forum for any other issues with this welder and haven't had any luck on this.
