hi
I am looking at buying a lathe on eBay. It is about 25miles from where I am so not a massive journey but the seller has no lifting equipment. It is a Colchester student mk3 I think so weighs approx 1ton.
I have an ifor Williams drop side trailer to load it on but am not sure how is best to lift it. Would an engine crane lift it or open to any suggestions of how best to get it onto the trailer.
I was thinking of hiring a set of skates from speedy hire to get it to the trailer.
Cheers in adavance
