Hello guys
So I would like to know what kind of electrode do you prefer ,amperage do you like to use
For me works well E6010 and E7018
I normally like to run also E6013 for some applications
So I use 2,5mm and 3,25mm rods
On E6013 2,5mm i normally use
90A on flat
70A Vertical up
80A Vertical downhill
90A frontal
105A fillet joints
E6013 3,25mm
115A on flat
90A vertical up
105A vertical downhill
100A frontal
120A fillet joints
E7018 2,5mm
105A on flat
80A vertical up
85A frontal
115A fillet joints
E6010
Is the problem my welder isn't suitable to run cellulosic rods so I have to crank a little bit up the welder I use 3,25mm rods
And I use something like 100A on all applications but was looking on YouTube and normally they runs E6010 3,25mm at about 85A
What amperage do you like to use for E6010 ?
Ps I used also 4mm cell rods with my cheap stick welder ,I think that I also need to practicing whit them because with 2,5mm I had no problems so maybe the welder can do it
