leave gas bottles outside all year with gauges on them

Hi all
just wondering would it be okay to leave gas bottles outside all year with gauges on them are sheltered and probably never sees sunlight
I could then just pull the pipe inside and connect up to welder

Mine lived outside for a year with a plastic bag over its vitals.

It would make more sense probably a bit safer mainly I haven't got room inside for two 20 litre bottles

Chuck something over the regs to keep the rain off

Plastic bucket are just right over the top

I think the UV wrecks the hoses quick.much safer outside though.

Aren't they stored outside at the depots?

at most places yes they are outside I was more worried about the gauges
