Hi to all.
This is my first ever post but i have been reading posts on here for some time now seeing what you guys have to say mainly about the tempting chineese welders, but i do like quality tools.
I have recently bought a used Kemppi Kempak Tig 150 for home and my only complaint is the weight but it does give it that quality feel like it will last a lifetime.
I wanted to connect a foot pedal to it as it has a 10 pin socket for one, I have only ever used tig with a foot pedal at work so wanted to continue at home.
I have a old miller foot pedal its a rfc-14 if that means anything to anyone and wanted to modify this to fit but it has a 5 pin plug and also it uses a 1000 ohm pillar type rheostat (I think thats what they are called?)
The welders socket is wired throught the 10kk amp control knob with a switch between.
If anybody has any wiring diagrams or info on the welder/foot control that will help me modify it that would be fantastic, i know i may have to fit a potentiometer some how.
Also does anyone know a cheep source for the 10 pin plug.
Sorry its such a big question for my first post.
