Guys and Gals, i have just picked up the above wire feed unit which is being donated to the railway i volunteer at, does anyone know what would be suitable to use for powering this, we have three phase available in the workshop. i assume the transformer / base unit that provides the weld current will have to have an output to power the wire feed motor and controls? does it have to be specific or could the feed be wired to another brand?

    cheers.

a few pics of the feed and a multi plug adaptor that fits the socket on the back for supplying the power to the feed motor / display... 20191104_150236.jpg 20191104_150252.jpg 20191104_150308.jpg 20191104_150358.jpg 20191104_150402.jpg
