The orginal Jowett bradford engine ran on the old 'pool fuel' 1939 to '51
Im not looking at super uppering up my Bradfords, make do some resigns to the engine to make them run as well as they used to do, on modern fuels.
Timeing curve, cam profiles and compression are all involved
Yes planning and decking also to up the compression ratio enough to gain the required dynamic compression ratio.
They have a cast head, I want to fill quite a bit of the combustion chambers in and reshape.
Can I do this with a mig?
I have read the cast iron section...
What are my choices?
I can get them filled by metal spraying, but the ppl who do it ask a arm and leg, after taking the shirt off my back
Cheers
