Jody's opinion of miller

I was watching Jody's (weldingtipsandtricks) latest video and in it he makes a quick comment on how he 'doesn't like the direction miller seem to be going'. I was just wondering what he may have meant by this, any ideas?

I'm guessing it might be related to the rebranding that's been going on? Illinois Tool Works is the parent company that owns Miller Electric, Hobart, Smith (oxy fuel etc), Weldcraft, Elga, Bernard and many many others. At least Weldcraft and Smith have recently been consolidated under the Miller brand and the internet* doesn't like it... allegations include prices going up, quality/product ranges going down, outsourcing to China, all the usual stuff.

Sorry it's taken so long to reply, not been on for a while. Thanks for you reply, very interesting I had no idea that all these company's had merged with miller, I'm sure that quality is still at the forefront of the miller brand as this is one of there main selling points I feel.
