Help/advise please..... My offside sill is a tad rusty at the bottom.
My questions are:
Would it be feasible to leave the bulk of the top and curved bit and just replace the cruddy bottom and back bits, in other words, heavily 'patch' it (one section at a time to avoid the need to weld braces in door openings).
Would it be legal to do this and would it satisfy the m.o.t. man/(woman).
Would it be strong enough?
The top section of the sills are very good and I really could do without the hassle of cutting the whole thing off.
