I've had my mig a long time and just made do but I'd like to improve it.
I've never been able to use the 210 amp setting as it blows the 13 amp fuse after about 30 seconds. If I put a 16 amp plug on it is their a fuse or trip where it connects to wall or is tripped at fuse box for 16 amp?
If I then have an adapter back to 13amp plug will it still work as b4 in normal sockets on low power?
I do all the welding with 0.8 wire, at 210 amps will 0.8 still work or do I need to change to 1.0mm?
I dont like the torch as it's a cheap one that came with it. It looks like a type 15 euro torch rather than 25. Do I need the type 25 to weld at 210 amps?
Is better quality torches more flexible lead?
Recommend me what torch you would buy if it was yours.
