off for two weeks now and my holiday arrange mets haven't gone as planned. So I'll be at home over the hols and I think I'm gonna rekindle my relationship with my workshop

Today I've found a piece of titanium bar, a length of stainless steel tubing and a nice lump of Iroko

Can you guess what today's project is gonna be ???

My last day in tomorrow, supposed to be back in on 2nd Jan but if all goes well Monday I may be starting in the new place on 15th Jan, which is payday here so if they offer me the job I won't be coming back here I don't think

I've got grand plans to make a nice little hammer for the kitchen to break ice for drinks,

I've cut and shaped the hammer head out of titanium, ny eck it's the toughest thing I've ever worked on! I've found some 16mm diamter titanium tube so that will make a simple shaft. I'm now struggling to drill a hole in the head for the shaft. My diy drill press just isn't man enough. So I will have to wait till after the hols to see My friend in London who says he will make the hole with a milling cutter and everything fully clamped up so it stays on centre. Should look quite good in the end
