just done some mig welding on a chassis strengthening plates and structural it,s fine,
but it,s not the best looking welding in the world
and as it is on what will one day will be a show car and will be seen from the engine bay i think the best way to make it look good is to put a angle bead of some type of filler or rtv type sealer over the top to smother it out and to make it more uniformed look much better than is now then paint over the top with chassis paint .
i know some will say use an angle grinder on the weld but i think that weakens the weld and is a lot of work as their is about 5 meters of weld in total and a lot of hard places to get in to
so can any one some thing to smooth out the weld and make it look more pleasing
thank,s
