So after something like 5 years of onored service my welding gloves went to the trash (not exactly my neighbor use them to take hot thing out of the oven )
I bought the same exact model ,the classic red ones
Now on the old gloves I applied a reinforcement on part of them to make them stronger against the warm and "fire"
On this ones initially I didn't because I use not to weld in strange positions anymore ,and generally speaking now I can do that without getting burn
Yesterday morning I had to repair the fence because I'm an idiot ...(angle grinder metting )
Because I needed to have a clean restart ,as my usual use ,I knock off the slag on the tip of the rod by using my finger
I got burn ,the glove got "drilled " by the rod
So today I put on some reinforcement on them
I have to sew them and apply temperature resistance silicon on the sewings
This time I try to protect more surface I can
They are wet now because I had to do that to make the things easier
