I want to make a horse brass. Thinking out of melted down brass plumbing fittings.
The thoughts are to use a 3D printed image like this, then press that into clay or something that will form a mould to pour the brass into.
To melt the brass could I place the brass in a steel pot and play the acetylene on it? Or do I need some sort of crucible?
As you can tell I haven't got a clue!
