hi everyone iam new on here i dont have a welder yet.............i just bought a cat d mazda mx5 today i noticed it had damaged /squashed flat chassis rails.
the car will be primarily used for track days on a race circuit and i know the chassis rails are important for the cars strength and rigidity.so hoping to sort the chassis rails out so that the cars not wobbling and flexing all over the place.then to eventually fit these over them.http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?deptid=4538&parentid=0&stocknumber=13-69010
how would i go about sorting the chassis rails on the car what thickness of metal and material how do i form the shape and what kind of welder should i use?
i have a similar fabricating bender is that what you call it a bender?at work see the link for a picture will this be useful or can i buy preformed u section sheet metal?http://www.avalanchesearch.com/tube_cutting/images/TKBrake.jpg
