Hi
My name is Frank and I hail from Cornwall.
I have 2 main hobbies they are
1.Turning alcohol into urine
2.Turning good metal into scrap metal.
I am retired and although I have done a bit of spot welding, (well that's the way it turned out), I would love to better my skill at welding.I make knives in my little workshop, and I have an Inverter Arc Welder which I can just about use, and also one of those SIP Gasless Mig Welders, you know the ones , the user manual is in Latin, it has two settings, and when I switch it to setting HIGH, it blows up, and trips the fuse, its called a Handymate, and you have to be handy to get it to go.
Anyway I am now thinking of buying a new welder, and I am torn between The R-Tech 180 and the Lincoln Bester.
I have perused the forum for a while and I have noticed that there is a lot of knowledge and humour on the Forum, and I am looking forward to getting involved.
