Looks like your a hard worker on those cars. What will you be doing in the winter. does it get very cold where you live ? Is it a heated garage for the winter, or tools packed away till the thaw ?

looks like you bin very busy. look great to me(i'am new to this.).

how do you like the Hobart 140? i just found out the different between gas and gasless welding and i may want go to the 140 instead of the 125 i have. and it looks like you're welding thin metal (i had a heck of a time welding two things of sheet metal. )

  16. yeah pretty hard :) it is winter here allready haha .-15c -22c with the wind when i was doing all that work. Yes it can ,minus 40c to 50c pretty cold ,but i deal with it .

my garage is heated with wood stove and a few electric heaters to speed it up a bit .

i work all winter on my cars and others as well :welder:

i'm in the middle of insulating and polying and boarding since it wasent when i moved in .

So it should be pretty nice once done .

thanks ,there is alot to do still ,but its getting there .I think its pretty good for not having any schooling .

i like the 140 ,but i wish i could tune it more .You can't really turn up wire speed and turn down the heat very much ,since it has auto settings. But other then that it works pretty good .I just got some .025 wirer and a Stype tank of auto weld gas and have been flying through metal work .Less hammer and dolly time now .

the metal on these honda's that ive been useing is 24 gauge sheet and some 22 gauge .I have to tack it all on 24 or i'll warp it ,ive tried to do short beads ,but even that heats it up alot .Since the patches are so small i really can't jump back and forth .

well updates to come guys thanks for looking and hope you enjoyed it ;)
