I thought I would share another project of mine. It's all finished now and was a little different from the minis I am used to but it was fun to do...lol
Wish i had the time and the room to do something like that, well done sir.
Gaffer borrowed a diesel Defender whilst his 3 yr old Nissan big end went. 2 days in rolled the Defender at 25mph, its gonna cost him big time, bulk head change front bumper, headlight surround plastic, front wing, door, rear wing iffy but collapsed the rear end width a touch with slight buckle to rear tailgate and a paint and sticker job. Such is the price of motoring, its alla dded to the running costs. Write off but perfect for the rebuilder.
The bloke he borrowed it off its his pride and joy in original nick.
Got a mate who has rebuilt two Landrovers one a Defender and one a C reg fully stripped and galvanised throughout.
I have a 1986 V8 90 County Station Wagon sitting on the drive awaiting attention. It was my wife's run around and my towing bus for around 10 years. It has already had the obligatory bulkead outriggers and rear crossmember, and is currently part way through an engine rebuild.
She keeps nagging me to get it finished, but I just don't seem to be able to find the time
