Hello,
I’m a total newbie to welding, but after watching some YouTube vids and being realistic about my capabilities, its something I’m looking forward to trying.
After a headache getting the generator to work with the welder, the welder no longer works properly.
At first it worked, a little but the wire wasn’t melting like I’ve seen from instructional videos.
Then the two clamp electrode wires got very hot and now it won’t even spark.
man I correct to geuss only one clamp is needed as a contact for the welding and the use of two clamps is for another way to weld? Or is something something else?
Sorry I don’t want to break it and thought I’d check in here for a little confidence and guidance before making more probs myself.
It’s a Hyundai mig-180.
thank you for any replies in advance
Kindest regards
Andreas
