Hello everyone,
I just picked up my Smart and Brown 1024 Vsl yesterday for the odd jobs I need to get done now and again I won't be using it for hours everyday, the problem I have is I don't have 3 phase in my workshop and am wondering would a 5.5 kW (7.5hp) rotary phase converter run it something like a Transwave or Hucol brand.
Are they reliable and can I just plug one of the mentioned rotary converters into a 16amp (blue plug) power supply that I have or will I need to upgrade my power supply and fuse, any assistance would be greatly appreciated in what best way to power up the lathe
