As per above my mum's clock has stoped working and was some time ago the ding working as you move the hands round but the tick tick is a no no
If I move the clock it ticks for 10 secs and then stops she said she over wound it but looking on line see a few people said this is rubish and it's just stuck also I know from looking they do say if it's been sat for a while wound up that can damage the spring
Ok any help please I want to do a clean of the clock ideal with Out a full take apart seen a few people on line remove the clock workings and dip them and dry and oil will this work and what do I need to do and look out for when doing
The vids on line don't actually give a complete step by step guide unless any one can post a few links to some good ones hers some pics it looks fairly easy to remove
