I would be obliged if anyone could help me identify some bar solder.
The markings on each of these bars of solder are 122546 37% sn which I already know is 37% Tin, but the cardboard box they came in had Silver Solder hand written on it.
Any help identifying these bars of solder would be graciously received.
In exchange for 10 metres of surplus to requirements armoured 4 core SY cable I have acquired some 30 odd 500mm long x 8x8x8 triangular bars of solder that have sat unused on a stores shelf for 18 or more years.
At first I thought they were tinman's soft solder but the bars are considerably stronger and lighter than the last bar of Sn50%/Pb50% soft solder I have in stock.
