Hi
I'm mid way through a project which is going really well but I've hit a problem and have no idea how to solve it.. I've a pillar drill but no lathe or milling machine.. My electric motor has a 24mm output shaft and a 8mm woodruff key fitted.. I would like to fit a blank circular piece of steel or aluminimum approx 10mm thick X 110mm dia to use as a flywheel .. I can get the blank material no problem but it's how to drill a 24mm hole perfectly in the centre so it's as balanced as poss and then cut out the slot so it fits the key? I don't want a geared wheel or a v belt pully as I've a connecting rod already made to fit etc.. Any ideas pls X
