Help choosing a car vacuum....

As thread title, any of the Collective recommend a decent, powerful [enough] hand-held vacuum for cleaning the cream mats in my new-to-me Lexus. Doesn't necessarily have to be cordless, one which plugs into the fag lighter would be OK.

I ordered one off the Temu site [I know, I know....] but it's going straight back as it could have sucked the skin off a rice pudding. I'm considering this currently on the 'Bay CLICKY , or something similar. I don't suppose anyone has one suitable kicking about that they'd part with for beer tokens? As long as it works but is powerful.......

Also watching this one, but it's a fair bit more than I'd like to pay. CLICKY

And before anyone suggests over-mats, it has those [ but cream too] and I'll probably buy suitable rubber ones for Winter use.

i still use the older dyson on all the cars ive had

always cleans the carpets spot on, no problem and the suction really pulls the dirt out of the footwell carpets

the adaptors fit onto the extender arm and is really handy to cover all of the car no problem

no handheld can beat that type so i stick with it

in your case the cream mats are out replaced with a darker colour instead not worth getting them dirty

Stay away from anything that plugs in a cigarette lighter always been s***e in my expierence !

Just buy a ‘household’ handheld, rechargeable vacuum like a Dyson or similar.

I use my numatic "henry on steroids" workshop vac... did the honda the other day and it ate a pack of face masks without blinking.... hasnt got a brush, i need to find onethat fits, but did a good job none the less

Hoover Constellation ! Mum had couple of those ! Floats on a cushion of air, on carpet anyways. I am surprised you can still get the bags.

In my experience , hand held vacuums are carp. Can't beat a Henry for this, mine has got a five metre hose which makes it easier to use.

Best to keep the one you have anyway.
Newer things always seem good at first, but generally do not last well and end up disappointing.

Just fancied a change for something a bit smaller. I've been idly 'grazing' the interweb for c 12 months, looking initially at 3 series, but settled on the Lexus because of their reputation for reliability. The 'new' one came up with all my ideal spec so went for it.
