I don't have a wife (or a real job) but I did split my first welder with a friend. I had to buy him out when I moved 400 miles south taking the welder with me.

I will need your advice in the future. I've read a lot of your replies posted on tihis site and you know your stuff. Im on a steep learing curvre and dont wont to fall off.
I've cramed a lot into my first few weeks of wleding. i've learned how to turn a decent peice of steel into somthing that looks like lace :cry: but on the up side learned how to fill in small holes
I have Two projects that need my attention the wifes horse box, Bedford 750 TL Four horse box . This needs a little help around the loading ramp area and my mates VW camper van that needs work certain places
Learning welding is fun. I went out today and bought a big sheet of aluminium and some Halfords gas and wire. We'll see what happens at the weekend, but I don't expect I'll have the knack straight off.
