Hi, I'm new to this forum, I've been hobby welding (mainly on cars and knocking stuff up with angle iron etc) for about 17 years.
I've had my eye on a Sealey SR12 spot welder, which apparently is an old unit (I'm not fussed about age or appearance I just need to do some sills on an old VW camper) but requires a separate timer box which it doesn't have.
The plug itself on the spot welder looks very much like a three phase plug and I see that some of you have seen them on the front of older Sealey super mig welders with a built in timer. Such as here
Now here comes my long shot question.... These timer units don't seem to be plentiful, so does anyone know where I could get one from or if anyone has a mig or timer unit they maybe willing to part with?
It is suggested that other manufacturers also have sold similar units in the past?
Thanks in advance, I've enjoyed looking around the site and hope to learn and contribute in the future!
