Hi all,
I am relatively new to MIG welding, I started with a crappy old machine a few years ago with absolutely no idea what I was doing, with unsurprisingly poor results and so a couple of years ago I asked a professional welder friend to help me get started properly and I invested in a decent SIFWeld machine, which is a lot more capable than I am! :-) I am improving and can produce a strong weld that doesn't look like crap but getting it looking nice / professional is still a challenge, as is vertical welding but I am enjoying the experience, biggest job so far was renovating a boat trailer and fitting engine mounts (and chassis welding) to my LandRover.
I bought a large (Air Liquide) gas bottle to keep me going for a few years but the connector on it has me stumped - I have been using it with a pipe clamped on but I really would prefer to get the proper connector for it as it looks like it should be quick release, however I can't find anything similar. Picture attached, any help appreciated.
