On my to-buy list is extensions for my welding leads. Yesterday I was welding up a gas bottle wood burner with my inverter (Pecol 150 MMA) perched on the end of the bench so I could reach the work that was on the ground next to the bench. Rearranging the wood burner for the next weld, the burner fell over pulling the inverter off the bench. No lights, no camera, no action.
I've had the cover off and checked for loose boards and connections but all looks fine. I plugged into my 12-230v inverter and can hear the load from the inrush current but no lights and the fans don't come on. Is there anything else I should check before I go back to the shop? Just getting into welding and I'm heartbroken at the specter of being without a welder while it is off for repairs.
